Self-propelled windrower CS150 CROSS

The CS150 CROSS windrower on crawler tracks is designed for mowing and laying in swaths rice with a two-phase harvesting scheme for this crop.

The windrower is used on flat fields with low soil bearing capacity (with soils of high moisture content) with a slope of up to 8º. On waterlogged lands vehicles with rubber tracks are reliable.

Simple and intuitive control of the windrower is carried out using an on-board computer, which displays all the necessary information and collects statistical data.

The steering column, together with the steering wheel, is adjustable for tilt and reach. The movement speed is controlled by a joystick on which the header and reel control buttons are located. The cabin provides comfortable working conditions for the operator for a long period of work.

The CS150 CROSS windrower is equipped with a proven and well-known to machine operators MMZ D-260 diesel engine, which provides the necessary power reserve of 150 hp. The engine is mounted on shock absorbers and attached on the windrower frame. The fuel tank with a volume of 260 liters ensures operation without refueling for up to 12 hours.

A crawler trolley with rubber-rope reinforced tracks 600 mm wide provides the necessary cross-country ability and minimizes the specific pressure on the soil in fields with low bearing capacity. The crawler drive allows you to move without restrictions on public roads, and has an increased wear resistance resource due to the absence of wear-out hinge elements and friction pairs in the design. The trolley is equipped with a mechanism for tensioning crawler tracks.

The running gear drive of the CS150 CROSS uses hydraulic motor-wheels with planetary-type final drives, which not only improves controllability, but also, by rotating the tracks in different directions, ensures a turn in place relative to the center of the windrower.

An additional advantage of this drive unit is the absence of wear parts (frictional clutches) and minimal maintenance requirements.

Ground clearance of 640 mm allows you to harvest high-yielding, long-stemmed crops without loss.

The windrower uses a simple mechanism for hanging the header in the form of an articulated four-link, providing a cutting height from 70 to 400 mm.

The CS150 CROSS uses a swath rice header with a working width of 5 meters. The header is equipped with a fingerless cutting device with a one-way drive and a movable knife. This type of the cutting unit is designed for harsh operating conditions, providing high reliability and exceptionally clean cuts even at high operating speeds.

Conveyors ensure uniform supply of the mown mass to form a fluffy swath, which ensures optimal drying of the mown mass.

The windrower can also be aggregated with an auger header for grass harvesting with a working width of 5 m (available from 2024).
