Characteristics

The FT40 forage harvester is designed for mowing corn, sorghum, sunflower and other high‑stemmed crops, as well as for mowing greens and picking dried seed and natural grasses from swaths with crushing and loading into vehicles.

The FT40 includes a trailed chopper, a rotary header for harvesting rough‑stemmed crops, a header for grass harvesting and a pick‑up.

The harvester is aggregated with tractors from the second to the fourth drawbar category with an engine power of 150‑250 hp. The FT40 opens unique opportunities for harvesting crushed feed, allowing optimal use of tractors available in your farm.

The disc‑type chopping unit with 12 knives ensures the highest possible quality of leaf‑stem mass chopping and corn kernels crushing. The high degree of mass chopping improves the occupancy rate of the trailer, thereby reducing the number of vehicles engaged in hauling. Stone and metal detectors reliably protect the feeding unit from foreign objects, preventing emergency breakdowns. Depending on the working conditions, replaceable wear‑resistant sheets can be installed in the chopping unit.

Pick‑up (1.85 m)

Ideal solution for efficient selection of pre‑mown plant mass from swaths. A reliable one‑way coupling in the gearbox provides protection against breakage.
