Characteristics

The semi-trailed potato harvester with lateral digging PT2 is designed for harvesting potatoes on ridge plantings with row spacing of 70, 75 or 90 cm in potato cultivation zones with a moderate climate.

The harvester is aggregated with tractors of 3 drawbar category and easily copes with its tasks on light and medium soils, including light and medium loams. The maximum permissible slope of the fields for the harvester is no more than 4º.

The design of the harvester has an enlarged technological path, consisting of 3 sifting conveyors, and the digging section has a hinged connection with the main frame for copying the relief of the field. These technological solutions provide high productivity of the harvester, which makes potato harvesting economical and efficient.

Hydraulic system and control

The PT2 harvester has an autonomous hydraulic drive system for a number of working bodies with a drive from the tractor power take-off shaft. The hydraulic working bodies are controlled from the tractor cabin using a remote control. A mechanical or combined drive of the harvester's working bodies is also allowed. In this case, the harvester's hydraulic system operates from the tractor's hydraulic system and is connected via quick-connect couplings.
