Sunflower headers

Headers ZhBP are designed for sunflower harvesting on flat fields with a slope of up to 8°, both in row and solid sowing.

When the header moves across the field, the tips of the lifters neatly divide the mowed mass into rows, regardless of the direction of movement of the combine.

The original shape of the lifters and the distance between them allows them to easily penetrate into the mass and, separating it, maintain the vertical position of the sunflower stalks. The shape of the lifters, in the form of an open container, allows you to collect the seeds that have fallen from the baskets and the fallen baskets themselves.

The guide shield helps the cut product to pass to the auger, preventing it from returning to the lifters. The central part of the auger is closed from above with a catching visor, which also prevents seeds and baskets from flying out of the header. The percentage of losses during harvesting is no more than 2%.

The cut baskets are captured by the paddle reel and pushed into the auger action area. The cut mass is fed by auger spirals to the center of the header, from where, by means of paddles with fingers, it is pushed into the feeder housing of the harvester. In this way, a high-quality threshing is ensured.
