Corn headers

The KOK header is designed for corn grain harvesting as part of combine harvesters. It includes: a six-row or eight-row header, a set of parts for reequipment a self-propelled threshing machine and a feeder housing, parts for reequipment a grain header transport trolley into a trolley for transporting a corn header. With the help of channels, the cobs are separated from the stems and fed to the auger, the leaf-stem mass is crushed and scattered by the rotor.

The KOK header includes a threshing drum speed reducer, which is additionally supplied by customer orders. Corn headers combine functionality, lightness and strength in an optimal way to provide excellent non-stop operation in the most difficult conditions. The low working height allows you to work at very close to the soil level, thus improving the collection of laid corn and significantly reducing losses. The header combines the benefits of gentle cob picking with efficient stalk crushing.

The most cost-effective technology for the production of corn silage is the preparation of a grain-core mixture. By using a transitional frame, the KOK header is aggregated with the GOMSELMASH FS80 forage harvester, which makes it possible to obtain canned grain in a flattened form at the output. This solution makes it possible to exclude grain crushing equipment from the classical technology for obtaining canned grain in a flattened form.

Harvesting cornage for feeding livestock is a well-known technology in foreign and Russian farms. The use of flattened corn in the diet of animals makes it possible to reduce its cost and, accordingly, reduce the cost of livestock products. When storing corn in sleeves, feed losses are minimized. The advantages of cornage: the maximum content of nutrients, the preservation of useful properties, good taste, it is practically not affected by mold and is easily digested by animals.
