Forage harvesting equipment GOMSELMASH helps farmers in Peru harvest feed for cattle.
The branch of OJSC “Gomselmash” “Trading House “Polesie” in Argentina sent a forage harvester FS6025 to Peru. The agricultural machine was purchased by the municipality of the province of Jorge Basadre in the Tacna region for rent to unwealthy agricultural producers in the region, which are part of the commune of Jorge Basadre. On their own, members of the commune can't afford to buy the equipment that is so necessary in their hard work.
Delivery of the FS6025 forage harvester to Peru was carried out in a matter of days. Wasting no time, employees of the “Gomselmash” branch in Argentina instructed local farmers before putting the combine into operation. Local farmers have already tested the technique in action, starting harvesting corn.
“The climate in Peru allows forage harvesting almost all year round. So there is always work for our forage harvesters”, – said Denis Popravka, first deputy director of the sales and service centre.
