As part of the visit to the Republic of Belarus, as well as in order to get acquainted with its industrial potential, Gomselmash was visited by a delegation of the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of Zimbabwe.
The delegation arrived at “Gomselmash” with the support of the official dealer in the countries of the African region – “AFTRADE DMCC”. The guests of our company were the Chief Managing Director of the Ministry Edwin Samuel Zimunga, Deputy Director of the Mechanization Department of the Ministry Harrison Basikoro, Deputy Director of the Department of Postharvest Technologies of the Ministry Creighton Chenzara.
The representatives of the delegation were accompanied by Dmitry Afanasiev, First deputy director of sales and development – director of sales and service centre of OJSC “Gomselmash”. At the permanent exhibition of agricultural machinery, he introduced them to GOMSELMASH agricultural machinery, led them through the main workshops and the assembly line. The guests also visited The scientific and technical centre of combine harvesters manufacturing, where the company's designers introduced them to promising developments.
As a result of negotiations with the management of “Gomselmash”, the Zimbabwean side expressed its readiness to purchase at least 60 grain harvesters in 2023.
