      ATTRACTING YOUNG TALENTS

      In modern society, where machinery, technology, and the labor market are growing and developing at a great rate, the education of highly professional and competitive personnel who meet the needs of modern production is an essential component of the economic development of any enterprise.

      The company's HR policy is aimed at attracting talented young people.

      OJSC «Gomselmash» actively cooperates, in accordance with the concluded agreements with educational establishments:

      • Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel;
      • Belarusian State University of Transport;
      • Gomel State Automotive College;
      • Gomel State Machine Building College ;
      • Gomel State College of Electronics and Information Technologies;
      • Gomel State College of Communications;
      • and others.

      OJSC «Gomselmash» participates in an important stage of the educational process and provides students with the opportunity to have a practical training in the company's structural units to acquire practical skills and professional expertise in their future position (profession), as well as to develop professional qualities such as teamwork, sociability, responsibility and initiative.

      As a result of the training, students are invited to work as young professionals (workers, employees).

      Lump-sum cash benefits are paid to young specialists employed by Gomselmash.

      The opportunity is provided to continue studying in higher education establishments by correspondence, as well as in master's degree, postgraduate study and job applicants.

      OJSC «Gomselmash» holds career guidance meetings with students of educational institutions, including on the principle of peer education.

      Each new employee has a mentor.

      In order to master production and quickly adapt to teams in the first year of work, new employees are assigned to experienced mentors who help them navigate the huge flow of information, adapt and get used to the workplace faster, and join the corporate culture and traditions of the company.

      The following people are involved in the adaptation process: the head of the structural unit and his deputies, the direct supervisor of the employee, employee who is responsible for ideological work in the structural unit, chairman of the guild trade union committee, employees of personnel and ideological services.
